EISCO Premium Dynamometer - 1N / 100G Spring Scale

The EISCO Premium Dynamometer has received a mixed reception from customers who utilize it for a variety of applications, primarily in educational settings or kitchen preparation. Users have praised its ability to register slight amounts of force, making it a suitable choice for sensitive experiments, such as determining the static and sliding coefficients of friction on inclined surfaces. However, several customers encountered issues with incorrect product labeling and miscommunication with customer support. The initial expectation of a 1N/100G yellow coded scale was thwarted when they received a green coded scale indicating a maximum capacity of 10N/1000g. Attempts to rectify this situation led to further frustration, as the replacement continued to be incorrectly labeled. Despite these challenges, the overall functionality of the dynamometer has garnered positive feedback for casual uses, like weighing ingredients in the kitchen. Many find it practical for quick measurements, although it may not be the best choice for precision-required lab work. While the build quality may not offer the utmost precision due to the plunger and calibration screw, users feel that the scale remains "awfully darn close" for everyday applications. In summary, while the EISCO Premium Dynamometer is appreciated for its ease of use in measuring small forces and simple kitchen tasks, significant concerns about product accuracy and customer service detract from the overall experience. **
