Enkaustikos Paints 4336973051 Editorial Review
In a recent review of the encaustic paints, customers praised the product for its great quality and ease of use. Many users found the ready-made colors fantastic, and one even mentioned blending their own colors, but still opt for these paints as their go-to option. Customers who sent the paints to their artist daughter reported her being thrilled with the product, noting its quality in terms of encaustic paints. Some reviewers mentioned that the brand of wax and product is the best they have come across, although they noted it can be hard to find in stores, making the beginner kit a real value. One customer wished that the kit included a sample of the XD medium, which they describe as an amazing product and their favorite encaustic medium. The paints were also well received by a photographer granddaughter, who reported that they worked great. Overall, customers found the encaustic paints to be a fun and exciting medium to work with, with one reviewer noting the various techniques they could experiment with, such as heating, cooling, dripping, pushing, and carving. Some users mentioned that working with encaustics can be expensive, especially if they have a sculptural approach to their work and go through the paint quickly. Despite the cost, users still found the kit to be a nice starter set for those looking to explore encaustic painting. **
