Question:
Is this as durable as the original banana?
Answer: I've never purchased the banana, so I can't give a comparison, but my cat ripped the rainbow open within 2 minutes. The manufacturer (Yeoww!) sent me a replacement, assuming the first one was defective, but he destroyed that one just as fast. I think it's probably durable enough for the average cat, but if you have a cat/crocodile hybrid like mine, it might not be durable enough. -

Can this item be stored prior to use? How long does it last?
Answer: Yes, it can be stored. I usually put my cat toys in Ziploc bags & squeeze out all of the air to keep them fresh, or place toys that have lost their strength in w/ fresh catnip & store them for a few months. Based on my experience, they stay potent for at least three years and structurally hold up even with constant use & abuse. -

I have 3 cats. Do you think I should buy one for each?
Answer: It really depends on the cats' personalities. Some cats don't like to share and prefer to have their own toys. I suggest starting with 2 toys and see if they share them or not. -
