Windows Desktop Editorial Review
**** "Active Directory For Dummies, 2nd Edition" is a well-received guide that strikes a chord with both newcomers and those looking to brush up on their knowledge of Active Directory (AD). Many readers praise its straightforward and approachable writing style, making complex concepts accessible to beginners. Users particularly appreciate the book's organization, which allows for easy navigation through the material. The book serves as an excellent starting point for those unfamiliar with Active Directory, covering all the essentials in a fun and engaging manner. Reviewers have found it beneficial as a refresher tool, allowing seasoned administrators to quickly regain their understanding of AD without getting bogged down in overly technical jargon. Notably, several users have highlighted the book's capacity to elucidate concepts that remain opaque in other literature, illustrating its effectiveness in teaching fundamental AD principles. However, some criticism exists regarding the content focus, with a few readers noting that certain sections drift towards project management rather than strictly adhering to Active Directory topics. While these divergent elements may not fully meet every user's expectations, the majority report overall satisfaction and find value in the detailed yet approachable handling of the subject matter. In summary, "Active Directory For Dummies" serves as a reliable resource for both novice and experienced users looking to navigate the essentials of Active Directory effectively. **Pros and Cons:** **
