Answer: It burns clean, only use it for camping stove. Wet coal? Not sure if this would work as viscosity is similar to water. -

Answer: I am no expert but I would guess yes, it is just a clean burn modern fuel. Some older burners are jetted differently though for thicker fuels. You can only try. Maybe Google the question. -
