It is not clear in the description that it is not suitable for directly connecting to a 4-inch PVC pipe. Instead, it needs to be connected to a cleanout pipe with a coupling. The threads work well and the cap is easy to take on and off. However, customers have reported that the product may not fit all applications, including the 4-inch sewer cleanout line, which has thicker walls.
