- Place the Sonic Alert Table Top Remote Receiver on a flat surface to receive convenient flashing alerts when any Sonic Alert transmitter is activated. The receiver comes with a cord and \pluglet\, which plugs into a standard power outlet. A plug-in lamp plugs into this pluglet, as shown in the diagram below. When signaled by a Sonic Alert transmitter, the receiver will turn the lamp on and off. Different flashing sequences can be used to indicate different transmitters. The signaling lamp can also be used for normal room lighting by using the lamp on/off switch. There is also an indicator light to remind you to turn on the attached lamp.
