The pads stay in place and are lightweight, making it easy to forget you're wearing them. The added padding on the side offers extra protection compared to other knee pads on the market. The knee guards are suitable for hot and humid environments, as they do not feel excessively hot, even in the New Jersey heat. One drawback mentioned by reviewers is that the knee guards only provide protection for the knee area and do not cover the shins. Some customers have reported that their shins still get bruised while wearing these knee guards. Additionally, the product description could be clearer about the fact that this item is sold individually rather than as a pair. Several customers were disappointed to receive a single knee guard instead of a full set.
