The Texas Instruments TI-83 graphing calculator is a good choice for beginners due to its ease of function, as some people find the functions of the TI-84 confusing. It is a dependable calculator and can be fixed if it won't turn on by taking the batteries out and holding the On button for 30 seconds before replacing batteries. Some customers prefer the Casio calculator, but a TI calculator is required by some colleges. The calculator comes with 4 AA batteries and is available on stock scheduled delivery right away. Walmart had the best price and provided fast shipping, with customers able to purchase it online and pick it up the same day. There are videos on Youtube to learn each function, as there are no pamphlets with the calculator.
