Although it does not remove existing rust, it helps in preventing new rust on your saw. One customer has reported using the cover in conjunction with T-9 to seal the top and a heavy-duty tarp. This combination has worked well for the last year, with only small spots of dust that required maintenance. The cover is made of thin, flimsy plastic and is prone to tearing. The drawstring is reported to be cheaply made and does not work effectively. However, it is easier to put on and take off than a regular tarp, and it does what it says - preventing the saw from rusting.
