    svar: Yes, the kit is designed to fit any 1/2 inch sprinkler riser.
  • fråga: What is the purpose of the pressure regulator?

    svar: The 25 PSI pressure regulator ensures the outgoing pressure is safe and ideal for drip irrigation.
  • fråga: Is the material of the conversion kit durable?

    svar: Yes, it is made from molded ultraviolet-resistant high impact plastic for added durability.
  • fråga: I have 8 spray heads in one zone. I want to replace two of these with drip irrigation and maintain the rest as is. do I have to cap the other 6?

    svar: I have not had issues with a similar setup. I have 3 of these in same zone as 10 sprayers. Since it has the 25 psi regulator the pressure to the drippers is lower than that to the rest of the sprayers.
  • fråga: What type threads are the pressure regulator and the T-adapter? Can the T-adapter be unscrewed and replaced with a single drip line adapter?

    svar: The pressure regulator as near as I can tell is simply the t fitting reducing the output pressure in half to the distribution lines that then terminate in the drippers.. The bottom, the part that connects to the plumbing is half inch female. You can disassemble it and use 1/2 inch fitttings to reconfigure it. It is all half inch. The upper part that tees off is not threaded. You have to get the funny pipe that inserts into it. It is half inch as well. No threads.
  • fråga: Does this come with instructions? I don’t want to screw it up.

    svar: It screws onto the pipe 1/2 inch nipple or riser, and interfaces with the 1/2 inch drip tube. I had 5 sprinklers in my front shrubs. I capped 4 of them and installed this on the center one. Then I ran drip tube in both directions, with indvidual drippers for each bush. I would have used teflon tape throughout. The single opening is threaded. Good luck.
  • fråga: There's no backflow preventer in this kit. Do I need to get one or it not necessary?

    svar: If this is feeding from a valve it will already have a back flow preventer. Be sure to install a pressure regulator of about 25 lbs before the line goes to any low flow heads. Go from valve pvc to 25 lb pressure regulator then to the low flow tubing.
  • fråga: Can I cap one side of the tee off if I just need to use one side of it?

    svar: Yes. Cut a piece of the black hose and screw on a terminator or fold the end in half with electrical tape . But why buy a tee if you only need one tube? You could always later cut into the black pipe anywhere and add another tee.
