Although some reviews mention a few shortcomings such as the metal thumb screws for the resonator feeling like they will strip easily, the neck being easy to bend when not handled carefully, and the tuning keys feeling loose, these are generally not deal-breakers, especially at this price point. As a whole, the Jameson Guitars 5-String Banjo is an excellent banjo for beginners who want to start playing at home.
