Blackstar Combo Amps IDCORE20V2 Editorial Review
The Blackstar 20W Digital Stereo Combo IDCORE20V2 is a suitable practice amp with built-in effects that sound good and not too electronic. It has two 6.5” drivers. It may not be suitable for keyboards or synthesizers because the crunch and overdrive channels seem to cut out at points. There's no mention of a power supply or a guitar cab. Users recommend using a clean tone on the amp for classical acoustic guitars. It may not be suited for loud playing but has an aux out for headphones. The Insider software may have compatibility issues and the Presonus Studio One Blackstar Edition DAW Software is no longer available. Overall, the sound quality is rated as decent to good, but some experienced muffled sound quality and malfunctioning after a few months of use.
