Prime Cut (Special Edition) [Blu-ray] presents an exceptional visual upgrade from previous releases, showcasing improvements in clarity and sharpness that breathe new life into this 1972 classic. Reviewers praise the natural, healthy look of the film, particularly in the previously murky dark scenes, now revitalized thanks to Kino's work from the original 35mm camera negative. Fans of dark satires will appreciate the film's insightful exploration of serious themes within a humorous context, enhancing its cult status over the years.
