The TNP PS3 Component AV Cable offers a convenient solution for connecting your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 2 gaming Console to your high-resolution HDTV. With a length of 6 feet, this cable provides ample reach for connecting your Console to your TV. Customers have praised the TNP PS3 Component AV Cable for its ability to deliver a sharp and clear picture quality. It is especially noted for its compatibility with older HDTVs that may not have a component input. Users have mentioned using a SCART adapter to connect the cable to their TVs successfully. However, some users have reported issues with sound when using this cable. They recommend ensuring that the cable is inserted properly and that the red and white wires for sound are correctly connected to the TV. Adjusting the sound and display settings on the PlayStation Console may also help resolve any sound-related issues. One customer inquired about the green input on their TV, which is not present on this cable. Another customer responded stating that the red, white, and yellow inputs on the TV should still work fine, as they were the original component colors. In response to a question about video bleeding from the composite to the component video, it was clarified that only one video output can be used at a time. The user needs to ensure that the PlayStation video settings are set to the component output for optimal performance. Lastly, it is confirmed that the TNP PS3 Component AV Cable supports 480i resolution. Overall, the TNP PS3 Component AV Cable provides a reliable solution for connecting PlayStation Consoles to high-resolution HDTVs. It offers great picture quality and compatibility with older TVs through the use of adapters. However, users should be mindful of potential sound issues that may arise and ensure correct setup and configuration.
