No, it is very easy to install. Just peel back the tape and stick it onto the wall.

No, the Aqualux shower blade does not require any chemicals for cleaning. It effortlessly removes water droplets.

Can the adhesive fixing pad be removed when adhesive is set without damaging tiles?

I am unable to answer your question as we have not used the fixing pad, the product is left on the windowsill in a standing position. Please be aware that it does do the job but not as good as an ordinary squeegy used for window cleaning.

What is the holder like? Suction cup?

The grey coloured water droplet shaped piece of plastic towards the top of the blade sticks to your tiles (sticky pad provided), you then separate the blade from this to remove from the wall and click back into position to store it.

How wide is the blade please? I assume it can be used vertically and horizontally (shown in picture)

The straight edge is 22.5 cm long. Like any ordinary squeegee it can be used vertically ie sweeping left to right. You can't do this effectively with the curved edge - it's only good for curved surfaces.

Any way to remove the build up of the black mould on the blade?

I haven't needed to do this, but if I did I think I would use an anti mould and mildew spray, wet it with the spray and leave it for a while. You can usually find this in most supermarkets. Hope this helps.

Does it have a wall fixing suction pad?

Sorry answered in a rush. It does have a wall fixing but it clicks onto a tear shaped pad which has to be stuck to the wall with an adhesive pad (3 supplied). I don't bother, it just sits against the wall in the corner. It works very well. It's great having 2 in 1.

Is this slim enough for overlap of glass on shower screen?

Hi, the gap between the glass on my shower is about 6mm and the blade does fit in there just to clear the last bits of water. It does not go all the way in but is sufficient for the job. I have had a couple of these over the years and they work well. By the way, my shower is curved.

Does this remove hard water staining that's already there, or does it only work if you're starting from perfectly clean glass and using it every day?

This will not remove existing hard water marks. It does however work very well on my curved shower doors and of course the flat panes owing to the two blades.

How does it work on curved glass showers?

I found it ideal for curved glass showers and would highly recommend it.
